After ingesting medical marijuana for the first time, a former police captain with Parkinson’s disease received astonishing results.
Larry Smith, a former police captain who has suffered from Parkinson’s disease for over 20 years, was filmed ingesting CBD oil for a documentary entitled “Ride with Larry”.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a compound found in cannabis. Unlike Tetrahydocannabinol (THC), it does not produce intoxicating highs. Studies have found this compound to have the ability to improve the quality of life in PD patients.
Larry had previously been hesitant to try CDB, but once he did, he watched as his symptoms nearly vanished within only a few minutes. With a few drops of oil under his tongue, Larry’s severe uncontrollable movements, loss of voice, and tremors were easily calmed within minutes.
Before trying CBD oil, Larry spent years looking for a treatment that would provide him with relief. He even tried brain surgery.
After his amazing experience with medical marijuana, Larry went on a 300 mile bike ride across South Dakota to give hope to others affected by Parkinson’s disease.
Recently, due to it’s many medicinal benefits, CBD oil has become more and more of a household name.
